Sorry, everyone!

Sorry to all of my friends and readers for being so inactive lately. I've just been busy with my personal life and writing has been put on the backburner. I still see all of your comments and whatnot and each one is greatly appreciated! Rest assured, I will be back to writing soon enough, I have the urge and the inspiration at least twice a week!

About

I'm on WorldAnvil! An excellent site for authors looking to flesh out their worlds with Wikipedia-like pages for worlds, continents, countries, characters, races, weapons, magical spells, etc etc etc. Progress on there is slow, for me, but I am updating it occasionally, adding in new articles and such.

My name is Thomas, or as I'm formally known, T.E. Jackson. I'm an amateur writer, longtime reader, and hobby photographer. I'm currently writing Hunted, my baby. It follows the endeavors of Arryn Daerieth, a troubled man with a sordid past. New problems and powers mixing into the pot as the story progresses. It reaches a point where not even demons and angels can keep out of the drama.

I've been writing since I was about 11 or 12, but it was just a fun side hobby until I was about 16. That's when I decided to take it more seriously, and as a result, my writing's improved astronomically. I'm still not amazing and have a long way to go, but I'm confident in calling myself a good writer.

I currently live in Maine, of the United States, but I was born in Rhode Island. We moved here when I was just a small child, so I don't remember too much of my home state, but I'm glad to live where I do, I wouldn't trade it for any other place. I dropped out of high school when I was 16, and have not attended college, but who knows what the future will bring. I'm currently in a very happy relationship with my perfect match, we'll call her F in respect of her privacy :)

If you would ever like to get in contact with me, feel free to leave a message, a comment, or a quickie thingy on my profile, I'd love to speak with you! Thank you for taking the time to read through, it's appreciated! :)

Writers I believe you should check out:

hullabaloo22 - A fantastic writer. Excellently skilled at poems. I've sadly not had many interactions with them outside of comments. Any of their poems are a fantastic choice, so... read them all! Hahaha.

M. A. Yacone - Probably the best horror writer I've ever seen on Booksie. He's also magnificently skilled at fantasy and comedy surprisingly! Not to mention he's a top-notch person to interact with. The Colors of Fire is an absolutely amazing fantasy story with a dark and gritty tone.

A.K. Taylor - A truly fantastic writer. His descriptive abilities are absolutely astonishing. He's also a top-notch person to interact with. Definitely check him out. Lucidity: Morpheus' Dream. What a story. I don't even know how to explain it, that's how unique this work is. This guy right here can hang with the big names when it comes to environmental description and world-building. Fantastic. Definitely give this story a read.

ShadowLight120 - A great writer and a fantastic person. He's always helpful and always has something good to say, be it critique or just kind words. His novel, Union: Disaster Rises is great and I highly recommend a read. He does a fantastic job of keeping his novel his own, and it truly is unique.

C. J. Davis - One of the best fantasy writers on here, and one of the masters of character development and dialogue scripting. I aspire to reach her level one day. Not only is she a fantastic writer, but she has the personality to match. She's been a tremendous help with all of my novels and I can't thank her enough. I simply hope I've been at least comparatively helpful for her. Her novel, A Broken Kingdom is absolutely amazing. If you're a fan of fantasy and the likes of elves and dwarves and such, definitely give this a read. You won't regret it.

T.M/I.K - What can I say? Two extremely skilled writers and some of the best reviewers I've seen. They've left me smiling with each comment they gave and I'm always eager for more. They've also given me some inspiration to continue writing, even when I wasn't quite feeling it, so for that, I have to thank them :D The Renegade and Gods and Kings are two great novels, I definitely recommend you give both a looksie.

Next up could be you. My only requirements are to either be a fantastic writer who catches my eye or to be a top-notch person to interact with. That being said, if you aren't on here and believe you should be, don't be offended. I most likely just haven't read enough of your work and/or haven't interacted with you enough. Try shooting me a message! Who knows, maybe I originally intended to put you but forgot! Hahaha.

If you happen to stumble across my profile and are interested in reading some of my work, I recommend looking at some of my newer stuff, as my older works are riddled with grammatical issues and my writing itself just wasn't up to par. That being said, Felhammer, Hunted, and Orcish Blood are what I mainly recommend.
