Shannon Cassidy

I am a hopeless romantic and as such, my favorite genre of literature is romance. I have childhood memories of weekends spent sitting at the kitchen table writing stories while other kids were outside playing. Writing and being creative was fun for me. As I got older, my short stories got put on hold, so I could focus on poetry. 

From about 18 to 30 years of age, I didn't write at all, and I rarely read. However, the past few years I've slowly gotten back into it, and I was surprised to realize how much I missed it. I find writing to be relaxing, calming, and therapeutic.

Although I'll probably never publish anything, I'm excited to have discovered this platform as a place to share my work and learn from others.
