About

i am 19 years old and i have been writing poems since i was about 11. i was a cutter and even though it started out to be just to fit in it turned into an addiction. i cut since my 19th birthday and writing gave me an escape from the world. when i was getting the urge to cut i would write. sure there were times where the writing didn't help but if i didn't have my writing i would probably be dead. it started out terrible my poems made no sense at all. i would say stuff like "change because you can, just like peter pan" and "where am i going my heart is still growing" these lines slowly turned into "remember the movie peter pan? well I'm like him, i change because i can." and "as I'm on this road i don't know,my heart continues to grow" my poems may not be perfect, i know this and i continue to work on techniques to make them sound better than they used to, but they are how i feel. they express my self and that's fine with me. i accept criticism and i consider it. I'm still learning and I'm sure you will see that in my work.
