Writer's block? Stumped in your chapter? Here's things that work for me!

1.) Listen to music (especially ones you've never heard before)

2.) Take a shower (optional singing operatically)

3.) Make an outline (write down any idea you have, even if you don't like it)

4.) Be bored for a while (or watch Vsauce's Why Do We Get Bored? on YouTube)

5.) Watch a movie

6.) Read a dictionary

7.) Read what you've already written (optional aloud, but aloud works better)

8.) Daydream / Fantasize

9.) Clean

10.) Look at pictures

Hello there, good peoples of Booksie!  There are some of you who may already know me--my previous account is Yoshie Akira, but for a certain reason (I lost the little slip of paper with my password on it...), I have created a new account!

     My name is Mentis Cibum--Mind Food....I think.  I'm not exactly great at Latin.

     I am an otaku, of course, so there is no need to worry.   I love to write and draw, read manga, and watch anime; I love ninja and ice cream and friends!

     I love knowing the meanings of names.  I think they are special, and define us individually.  Some can even be a reflection of one's personality!  That's kind of why I've decided to post up some names from several nationalities.  It might also be helpful in finding some unique character names; when I myself am at a loss, I check my handy-dandy name list! :D  But that's just me.  I hope everyone else enjoys it, because it's a lot of fun for me!  (My real name means "Crown Rock Field."  t-.-;)

     If you leave me a reading request, I will try my best to check it out as soon as possible.  I accept anything, but I'm not particularly into romance or lovey-dovey kind of things (I will still read them!).  I'm not one to comment on every single chapter I read, and I am one to occasionally nitpick about spelling and when a homonym or foreign word is used incorrectly.  It's a bad habit of mine, I think...  I do not require you to read some of my works in exchange for reading yours, but it is greatly appreciated when the favor is returned.  Seeing that little orange message box makes me as happy as the next person.  :3  Thanks.
