Life in the Time of Coronavirus Story Project

In the last two months, the world has been turned upside down by the spread of the COVID-19 virus. From closed schools, to shelter-in-place orders, to empty streets, life has come to resemble an alternate reality.

In response, Booksie has created the Life in the Time of Coronavirus story project. We'd like to provide people across the world the opportunity to tell your stories in the life of coronavirus. How has your life changed? What challenges are you dealing with? How are you doing? By sharing our stories, we can not only take some control over the situation, but document this period in our global history.

The stories should be true and not fiction.

This is not a contest. For every story over 500 words posted as part of this project, Booksie will donate $1 to Global Giving Coronavirus Relief Fund, up to $1,000. 

Our hope is that the shared experiences of these stories will provide solace and comfort in this time of extreme change, hardship, and isolation, Booksie hopes you and your families stay healthy and safe.
