About

Dear Reader,

The beauty of short stories lies in their ability to capture these fleeting yet profound glimpses of emotion that reveal our shared humanity. It's like a handcrafted chocolate truffle: devoured in moments, but its richness lingers.

I'm an economist-turned-author, German-born and London-based, specializing in contemporary psychological fiction that bridges commercial and literary styles. My work features flawed characters navigating relationships, identity, and personal growth. I aim to craft emotionally resonant stories that challenge assumptions about right and wrong.

Here's how my stories are organised by word count:

In addition, I'll post monthly updates on the process of editing and publishing my debut novel, Pentimenti: What We Paint Over.

I'd love to hear from you! Whether it's a quick reaction ("this reminded me of...") or a deeper reflection on how a story resonated with you, your thoughts will help make this a true conversation about storytelling.

You can also find me under Authentically Yours on Substack.

Best,

Larissa
