I see you, you see me.
We see each other endlessly.
Always watching, eyes never closing yet they never really see.
I can`t see me only you can see me, watch me longingly.
You can`t see you only I can see you, except I cannot.
I watch and see the mirror laid out before me.
A lie that endures all of the battles we`ve fought.
You see me and I see what you want me to see.
We stand in a field of lies hovering over an ocean of perfection.
It watches us waiting for the moment we shatter.
But we only see, we see and we see never taking action.
I see what I believe to be you and you see me.
You see from behind a wall constructed of your suffering.
It`s not you`re fault nor is it mine.
I see, I accept the lie standing before me.
There is nothing before me.
I am alone.

Your poem is really intriguing. I like how it twists it at the end and it's just them, it makes me think they were looking in a mirror and almost saying these things to themselves. It was a really great poem.
