The rain keeps dripping all day long
It’s been such for the past few days
Grey is the looming sky, mundane prong
Cold and wet, no fun but just to stay away
Even my room is gloomy, chilly and wrong
Don’t seem there’s going to be any ray

The Stones fill the void with their song
“Always Suffering” playing loud and apt
Can I pass the day as if nothing’s wrong?
Would there be a corner I can easily adapt
My heart feels torn and my mind not strong
With the passing moments I am all rapt

This is a blue grey day with little joy
How could I stop this aching ways?
Lost in a daze as a desperate boy
Is there a passage I could crawl away?
I shan’t let this weariness stay coy
But find a way to make it my day

Far away somewhere beyond lies a place
Where I could retreat to and find rest
Bring happiness that show in my face
In my eyes sorrow no more, just all’s best
There I shall find solitude, solace and grace
For in nobody and nothing shall I detest
