Doctor Prescott graduated from McGill University Faculty of Medicine. Subsequent to graduate work in general medicine and neuro-psychiatry, he maintained a family practice for a few decades with board certification in that field as well as geriatrics. He studied creative writing while in college. He has published in both short story and novel form.
