It will get easier

There are tons of kids out there that have been through so many things that kids should not have to go through. From someone with experience it is true. I was born in Rome, Georgia on September 9th 2010 at 6:48 am. About two years after I was born I was taken into the state's costude (Me and my brother). Trust me when I say I have been through a lot. Not many people know my whole story, not even me. I know bits and pieces but not everything. It is so hard knowing only half of your story. Sometimes you try so hard to remember but you can't. I wake up from nightmares and feel like I remember but then I just forget again. It can be so frustrating but you just have to keep pushing forward. I am still figuring it all out myself but I do know that you are not alone(you never are). You will always have some meriomes, some flashbacks, and you may have nightmares but you will get past it. Soon or later you will realize that you are a fighter and you can choose to wake up and be a survivor or you can choose to wake up and be a victim (I recommend waking up and being a survivor). Is everyday gonna be easy, not at all. Some days are gonna be harder than others but just know you got this and you have so many people routing for you even though it might not always seem that way.

Do you ever feel like you have no one to talk to or that no one cares about you? A lot of people do, every person is gonna react and go about this a different way. Some may get mad and frustrated, others may feel depressed, it just depends on the type of person you are. I need you to know and remember you are not alone, you will never be alone even if you think you are, you are not. God is always with you, he will always be with you. God cares about you and loves you. God says you are Chosen, Beautiful, a child of god, and Loved. God chose you! Verses Isiah:41 “says Do not fear for I am with you” meaning God is always with you. God is your biggest cheerleader. God knows why he put you on this earth, he also knows what you have gone through and when you are gonna die. God knows your purpose. God sent his one and only son to die on the cross for our sins. The bible says that if you cry out to god and ask him for forgiveness he  shall forgive you. Talk to him and pray. There is no right or wrong way to pray. You might not think he is listening but he is. God has his own way of showing he is listening. You might not always see his signs or like them but god knows what he is doing. I get frustrated sometimes because I feel god doesn't care about me or even that he is not listening but then I realize he's doing other things that are more important. For example my mom and brother were recently in a bad car accident and it totaled a car. I was mad at first because it was our second car crash in a little over a year but then I noticed that my mom and brother walked away with not one injury. I was so glad to know that god protected them because I know it could have been a lot worse. 

Do you struggle with your trauma? I don't know about you but on a daily basis I struggle with my trauma. Sometimes I go to places that remind me of my trauma not on purpose but it just happens. Trauma reminders are a part of life and it's hard but you will get through it if you keep fighting and don’t give up. Believe in yourself because I believe in you. Soon you will realize that  it's worth fighting for. You're worth fighting for.
