My mom adopted me at 6 and never gives up on me. She is the best mom, and she always know what to say and do.

The scent of lavender, a whispered prayer,

Hangs in the air, a love beyond compare.

Fourteen years have spun their fragile thread,

Since you, my Mom, embraced a life unsaid.

A life I stumbled into, lost and small,

Before your love enveloped, healing all.

Not just a house, but haven built with grace,

A sanctuary found in your warm embrace.

You didn’t just adopt, you set me free,

From shadows clinging, letting me truly be.

A family's warmth, a laughter's gentle chime,

You sculpted it for me, defying space and time.

Your hands, so strong, that held me through the night,

Soothed every fear, and banished every fright.

Your eyes, a wellspring, deep and ever bright,

Reflecting kindness, banishing the night.

They saw the cracks, the fragile, broken parts,

And mended them with love's own healing arts.

You taught me strength, not just in outward show,

But in the quiet courage, letting feelings flow.

The strength to stand, when burdens weighed me down,

To face the world, to wear a hopeful crown.

To rise from failure, wiser and more bold,

A story of resilience, bravely unfolding.

You showed me kindness, not a passive state,

But active caring, sealing fate's cruel gate.

Empathy's soft touch, a gentle hand,

To understand, to truly understand.

To reach for others, lost within the fray,

And light their darkness with a hopeful ray.

Your wisdom whispers, like a summer breeze,

Through rustling leaves of ancient, knowing trees.

You paint life's canvas, vibrant, rich, and deep,

Where dreams take flight, and secrets softly sleep.

You nurtured dreams I hardly dared to claim,

And whispered faith, to conquer fear and shame.

More than a mother, you're my guiding star,

Shining so brightly, near and yet so far.

A beacon calling, through the stormy sea,

Leading me onward, towards my destiny.

I watch you, Mom, with wonder in my eyes,

And vow to grow, reflecting your sweet skies.

To match your strength, your kindness, and your grace,

To leave my mark upon this fleeting space.

To build a future, mirroring your art,

A compassionate and strong and loving heart.

To be like you, a lighthouse in the night,

A beacon shining, ever burning bright.

For you, my Mom, my anchor, and my guide,

My deepest gratitude, I cannot hide.

My love for you, a boundless, endless sea,

Forever grateful, eternally, for thee.

And as I grow, I’ll strive to understand,

The woman you are, the strength within your hand.
