The Sun and The Moon

She was a girl of blazing fire 

Sunkissed and with a heart of gold 

 loved clouds, birds and springs 

Like the lives she sustained and the colors she brought

To the shabby walls beneath.

The incandescent joy of globe

Amidst a storm like a ray of hope.

He was a gentleman in a suit 

Always ready for the praise,

Yet so calm,serene and pure.

Quite an observer and reflective like a mirror

Forever contemplated and surrounded by the stars.

He was young and innocent almost 

Soft as strings of the guitar.

The day when he reached for his lover 

With love, patience, serenity and the flower 

With rhythm, edginess and fear 

He approached the sun in a day light.

The reunion of lovers was magical 

When they touched their tender lips,

The whole world noticed and called it an eclipse.

A mystical day it was and their love 

Was a cosmic dance,

Since then they waited the whole year and met only once.
