A poem about a guy who had struggles in life that boiled over into his marriage.

Written on 21/02/25

I did some bad things,

But now I’m on the mend,

You’re an amazing woman,

You’re also my best friend,

I should have trusted you more,

Instead of going elsewhere,

The way I treated you,

Was so bad and so unfair,

Yet you’re still here,

That shows you have heart,

I don’t deserve you,

Because I ripped you apart,

Your mind, your emotions,

I took it all away,

I can see it in your eyes,

You’re struggling everyday,

You say you’ve forgiven me,

But everything is so raw,

You can say my biggest enemy is a bungalow,

Because I have so many flaws,

I lost my mind,

I went off track,

I’m working hard every second,

To bring myself right back,

One day I will,

I hope we’re still together,

When I married you,

I married my forever,

I know right now,

Everything is a disaster,

But I promise you this,

We will get our happily ever after.
