The poem serves to highlight the ongoing struggle for Ukrainian sovereignty and the complexities of national identity in the face of Russian aggression, advocating for resilience and cleverness in the pursuit of freedom even as the sands of support for Ukraine’s position seem to be shifting.

The Ruskey Czar once declared to Ukraine's top comedian,

Don’t even dare test our Russian resolve,

You belong in Russia says our historian,

And our mother land you want to dissolve,

This problem is domestic, civil war I will rage,

Resist my demand, Armageddon will be my wage.

The struggle continues, Russian embargos ensue,

Both sides strike, counterstrike with much ado.

The comedian is intelligent, clever, nobody's fool,

Ukraine is a country the Czar will no longer rule.

The U.S. Plutocrat into the fray he does wade,

I'll end this war is his constant tirade.

For the Ruskey Czar, its a bonanza untold,

While Ukraine and its allies are left in the cold.
