CIVILIZED SAVAGERY

Evolution -- nothing more than a deflection of the progression of time -- mired in the minutia of human illusions and delusions of altered barbarity and brutality – to a state of methodical and civilized savagery.

It is the human mind – evolved over time from sensing, protecting and reacting – to perceiving, deceiving and conceiving – and then acting on impulse – instinct – and urge.  Humanity stagnating in its own fabricated and manufactured environment – unable to adapt to naturalistic reformations – and instead – seeking, searching, tracking -- the animalistic scent within to recapture the depravity and degeneracy of man’s primal mind – primordial and elemental.

Humanity – incapable of moving forward.  Always hungering for power – for control – for domination. By choice – not design.  Life a game of dominance and submission – taught and learned – generation after generation.  Wars – conflicts – hostilities – rivalries – feuds – crusades – campaigns -- struggles.  Since the beginning of time – man against man – mind against mind – strength over weakness.  Continuous.  Incessant.  Unceasing.  Baseball.  Football.  Soccer.  Swimming.  Track.  Gymnastics.  Hopscotch.  Jacks.  Chess.  Games that emulate and substantiate the need to win – the need to succeed – the need to overpower – the need to dominate.

Look around – and all we see around us are Haves and Have Nots.  Winners and losers.  A world of controlled evolution of civilized savagery – of orchestrated wars – of choreographed attacks and assaults – of strategized incursions and invasions – and of calibrated diabolic debauchery that only the human mind can conjure and systematically set in motion. 

Civilized savagery – admired – celebrated – commended.  Look around – at the statutes – the monuments – the shrines – erected in tribute and homage to man’s inhumanity to man.  Not a reminder – but a trophy – a medal – a prize.  How civilized we have become.
