The Lord is near, His promise sure,
To broken hearts He brings a cure.
Though tears may fall, unending streams,
He gathers each, renews my dreams.
The weight I carry, none can see,
The ache of feeling lost - just me.
Alone I stand, misunderstood,
Yet God remains, and He is good.
I cry aloud; does Heaven hear?
My whispered prayers, my hidden fears?
Yet in the silence, soft and still,
He draws me close; sharing His will.
A heart that's shattered, torn apart,
He cradles gently in His heart.
Though I am weak, His love is strong,
In Him, my hope will carry on.
