This limerick-style poem was written one weekend while I had my Granddaughter and I was exploring books looking for ways to write different styles of poetry. Who better than to write about my sweet dear Granddaughter? Fun!

ELOWEN IRENE

Her name, Elowen Irene

She seemed oh so serene.

While making her bed

she smiled and she said

“I love when my room is so clean!”
