Yahweh is God of Israel.
And that's the story I want to tell.
Everyone knows quite well,
Yahweh is Lord, and up in heaven, he dwells.
Yahweh's father, El, gave him the land.
From there on, he made his stand.
Then other nations worshipped him, that was fine.
Yahweh said, 'Áll the earth is mine.'''
Yahweh gets angry when the Israelites stray,
He will turn his face, and punish them every day.
He has warned them, not to worship any other gods,
No other master, and no other lords.
THere is no other God beside me.
You're my treasured possession, you're to be holy.
I promise, 'I'll never abandon you.
Just be righteous and stay true.'
