The Never Ending Nose Drip
My nose began to run one day
Drip drop drip drop it won’t go away
It dribbles and dribbles a slippery stream
A gooey gloppy snotty dream
I grabbed some tissues one two three!
But my nose said “HA! You’ll need a tree”
I used up the box the roll the stash
And still my nose kept making a splash
Drip drop drip drop my nose won’t quit
It’s wetter than a faucet and I’m sick of it
Drip drop drip drop it just won’t stop
I think my poor nose needs a mop
I tried to plug it with some bread
But the crumbs just flew out and hit my head
I stuck in some cotton and duct taped it tight
But my nose blew it off like a rocket in flight
I wore a bucket beneath my chin
But it overflowed and spilled right in
The dog looked disgusted the cat said “No way”
Even my toys all ran away
Drip drop drip drop my nose won’t quit
It’s wetter than a faucet and I’m sick of it
Drip drop drip drop it just won’t stop
I think my poor nose needs a mop
I asked my nose “Why won’t you behave”
But it just kept leaking like a waterfall cave
Now I’m wearing rain boots and a snorkel too
Because my nose is turning my room into goo
So if you hear a splatter or a splish splash sound
It’s probably me with my nose running around
Grab an umbrella and stay out of my way
Because my drippy drippy nose is here to stay
Drip drop drip drop my nose won’t quit
It’s wetter than a faucet and I’m sick of it
Drip drop drip drop it just won’t stop
I think my poor nose needs a mop
