Too Messed Up

Sometimes I feel like I’m too messed up,

Too unlovable 

To understand;

That no one will want to take the time to 

Learn how to connect with me,

With my heart.

My soul is asking,

“How long do I have to wait?!”

I have no response, no reply,

Only silence.

I lower my head 

But remain determined 

That one day

Love will come.
