Summer's collision
entwined twin souls beneath trees
passion breathes between
Roots relieved by soft reprieve
nutrient heaven achieved
Leaves fall gift received
Autumnal fog blanketing
soothes weary cracked sooth
Scorpions lie rest in piles
crackling blankets for miles
Flaked water drifting
tears frozen encased by time
Winter chills to bone
By the opaque sky we'll try
through end of year to slide home
Marching ents emerge
fresh trunks dew dropped drink again
new life springs in chains
Growing pains and quantic change
Faes of phase dance rhythmic rains

So cool! It's been a while since I've read one of these, so the nostalgia is real. You and your wife make a great team, and hopefully, you can post more of your collabs in the future. :)
