Chapter 5: Century race part one

Myra and Ivor slept peacfully as Sophie tossed and tuned in bed because the century race was just days away and she would have to explain how Myra was young again and pregnant she would alsohaveto explain how Tia had vanished knowing that the truth was to crazy for any one to beleive she her self found it hard to find real and she was there as it happened

Sophie needed a story something that would diract questions away from what she could not explain and just then someyhing happened the calculations for the century planet were verry wrong and this ment that insteadof the planet being used for ten ore years it would be evacuated in months as the sand storms would swalow everything up leaving nothing for another thousand years so instead of the attention being on her and the ship it would instead be on this mess up.

Another concern that was shared by Myra and Ivor was harder to ignor the merger of three universes not even seeing magnetic levetating race cars travelling at twice the speed of sound in a once in millenium race could distract anyone from that concern 5his was a serious matter that put trillions of life forms in danger and yet the media was only intreasted in hoe many were watching the race one good thing from trhis however wasthe three way trucebetween the elven empire the orc legion and humans. Sophie wished that this would lead to long term peace the war had been going on since before Sophie was even born.

Un able to sleep at all Sphie rose from her bed and walked naked into a bath room and tured on two tapsletting the bath fill up with warm water and foamy soap before getting in letting her worries melt away only after a long cleansing bath wasSophie finaly able to rest

when the morning came not even a warm bath could sooth Sophie as the press was waiting for her drop ship on the planets surface she was the youngestever commander f an omega class space ship and untill the race teams arrive she was trhe focus of everyone the orc legion were also intreasted in what she had to sayas theystill had a grudge against her for failing to stop the attack on their ship ther nwas a truce that was signed and ment that all talk of the war and acts linkedd to the wasr were off limitsbut this would not stop all orcs from bringing this up

Transportation ship are bigger than busses but look like toys when near omega class ships which had to be parked far away from any planet infact they had to be stationed outside of the star system to avoid blocking out solar light or heat

The traffic going towards the century planet was immense and went bacck for further than eyes could see the race was just days away and the hype could be felt from further back
