Hi Booksians and guests,
We’re super-excited to announce the launch of Booksie Print. It’s a tool that is designed to take the hard task of creating a print copy of your book, and making it click-click easy. With Booksie Print, with one click of a button, we’ll take the content you’ve posted on Booksie, format it, add the relevant graphics, and create a print-ready file. We’ll then take that file, use our high-speed printers, and generate a bound ebook that we print and send to you. Below is an example of a Booksie Print book.
Format
- 8x11 pages printed on both sides.
- A plastic cover over the front page and back plastic cover to keep your writing safe.
- Spiral binding.
Ideal For...
Now, maybe some of you are saying this doesn’t look like a traditional book. It doesn’t. We’ve simplified and standardized the book design to make the process easy. Booksie Print is ideal for creating:
- Proof copies
- Copies to share with your friends or family.
- Gift copies
- Copies to display around your house.
- Over time, we’ll be improving the formatting and the appearance.
Doesn't Need to be Complete
Your book or story doesn't need to be complete in order to use Booksie Print. If you're halfway done with your book but want to print that out, no problem.
The Cost
The cost for a Booksie Printed book is a flat fee of $2 per copy plus $.10 per page and $5 shipping and handling. So, a 50 page book would be $2 + $5 + $5 = $12.
The Process
The process is easy:
- Publish your book, short story, poem, etc. to Booksie.
- On your Portfolio page, click the More button and choose Booksie Print from the drop-down.
- Approve the book, order your copies, and the book will be printed and sent to the address you provide.
It takes less than 5 minutes.
Don't Have a Booksie Account?
No problem. Register for free, post your writing, and then print your book.
Formatting
Not all content posted on Booksie formats cleanly. If this is the case, contact us, and we’ll help you get there.
Availability
Booksie Print is a test program. As a result, we’ll only be shipping to addresses in the United States for now. If the program is successful, we’ll open it up to more countries.
Questions? Feel free to post them in the questions section below.
Thanks and let us know what you think.

Fri, November 10th, 2017 9:24pmHi there - great idea.
Is it possible to create a book by adding all of the poetry I have written. I'd like a copy for myself and to leave for my family when I leave this mortal coil ...
thanks...........
When do you expect it will open to other countries? And is the Netherlands also included in those other countries? :)
Mon, March 12th, 2018 9:03amI only have a few questions, Booksieguy. Regarding the formatting of the content on the inside, would it be possible to request manuscript formatting or is this just a straight formatting from the site itself( e-book formatting)? I'd love to see a sample of what the contents look like, is that possible? Also, I've seen sometimes where the site doesn't read the formatting quite like I'd like it to with different size text and stuff despite trying to make it uniform when I've edited and such, would that show up in the document during print?
This could be a viable manuscript service, if those issues are taken into consideration.
Do y'all print in art work that goes alongside the text?
Wed, August 1st, 2018 8:31pmCan you choose what type of binding you receive?
